It's commonly used in art - blocking off areas with tape to get a clean, dividing line between colours. If something similar could be done with desserts it would be very bold and striking.
Thank you *・°☆ I've never seen a cat in a box in persona before. Morrigan tends to just climb all over Akira when he wants to rest.
watch me be better at drawing on a cake than on paper i s2g
and shit i'm surprised you haven't seen her taking to every shitty box i got in the apartment, got so bad i put a couple of the boxes up high so she can perch in em
Sometimes it is the canvas that can be the thing holding a person back. Something unconventional might work better for you. You can technically say that food is, after all, your medium more than paints and paintbrushes.
...
Honestly, I usually pick her up before she goes near any boxes. It's probably my own fault.

... u haven't seen Chou in her boxes before?
she likes them better than my bed

Oh, for cleaner lines and block colour?
No. Are you saying you have pictures of Chou in her box? [ And... and didn’t send them to him?? ;A; ]

shit i gotta try this later
and oi she does it so often i didn't think to send anything... i'll get some pictures tonight

i thought it was kinda charming
overblown as shit bc teenagers think the world is ending if they don't get what they want but...
[HE'S NOT EVEN ARGUING he just thinks this says a loooot about them as people and as a couple]

Much Ado About Nothing was better for charm and romance. Even if the main couple were easily over looked in favour of the secondary one.
[ doesn't it just.... ]

u gotta look at the emotion between the two main characters, that's the selling point
its why starcrossed lovers is such a huge trope in fiction
no subject
There's nothing satisfying about the bull-headedness of family feuds tearing apart two people who just wanted to be together.
no subject
shit i'd say it sells better than happy endings sometimes
two lovers who can only be reunited in death bc life was too cruel
... or uh that's what i'm assuming
no subject
...
...
Hm. Maybe? That... assumes a lot of things though. I feel I should be less surprised you see the optimistic side of tragic romance.
no subject
shit i know some who hate happy endings bc they feel it's too sugary and unrealistic
tragedies feel more honest to them
but then u got people who like happiness bc life has never treated them kindly so its nice to see even fictional characters get a reprieve
[So you know there are layers to this discussion and stuff.]
oi now i'm super optimistic :)
[Hahahaha that's a joke +_+]

The world is tough. I don't think there's anything wrong finding escapism in your entertainment. Even if it can be a little too sugary sweet, yes.
It's about balance. As most things are.
[ PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. ]
Is that so?

i'm not about to fault someone for loving a dark ending where everyone dies
and wow its like u don't believe me
no subject
Not precisely, but I am taking it with a pinch of salt, shall we say.
