006↠ ACTION
[It's sunny. And hot. And perhaps not the best weather to take a nap in while you're unabashedly unconscious.
... Which is too bad, seeing as Sanji's passed out under a tree located at the village's edge - clothes dirty and ruffled, no doubt collecting more dirt as he rolls in his uncomfortable slumber, the crook of his arm covering his eyes.
Go on. Wake him up. Be a good Samaritan.
And hell, even if you don't, Sanji will eventually stumble upon you -- or into you, if that's your thing. Later in the day he'll be all over the village insisting he's fine, no he's not drunk so stop trying to escort him back to bed. B| He can walk it off.]
[ooc: MALLYNAP EFFECT. Touch him and your character will share a memory with Sanji. It can be a memory of his or a memory of your character's; just specify in the subject line what you prefer. |D Any memory is free game, and the scope of it is at our discretion, but keep in mind both characters will view it until the memory ends or they escape the "boundary". (Just imagine the memory as a bubble and if a character walks far enough for whatever reason, they pop it.) Also note they're still in Luceti - no teleporting anywhere. Just assume the characters are mostly slack-jawed and staring at a tree for the duration.
I also endorse all time-breaking. Tis but a flimsy wall in our way.]

[And that faint smile from before is slowly wearing away, now suddenly unsure and concerned] Oi, what's going on?
[action]
...We're about to rescue Luffy from being tortured. [The memory has shifted enough for Sabo to realize it's been jumping scenes, so when the memory shimmered again, he glances at Sanji and gives him a one useful advice when visiting a trash heap:] Don't breathe in all at once.
[Because suddenly. There's an indescribable stink everywhere, and there's garbage covering every surface of the ground, some piling into great heaps like hills.
Welcome to the Gray Terminal, Sanji.]
[action]
He promptly recoils and chokes, drawing an arm over his nose.]
Ugh! The hell... [That such a place exists... well, Sanji's less surprised than he could be, but the stench is so thick and the sight so unrealistically horrid, it's hard to form a thought here.]
[action]
The last time he'd seen Gray Terminal, it was lit by fire.] ...still can't believe they burned this place down. [People were dying and lives were ruined... and no one cared. It still makes him so damn angry.
Then he blinks, remembering his new companion. He looks over Sanji in concern.] Try breathing through your coat. You get used to the smell eventually, but I'm not sure if we have enough time for that.
[action]
They burned it down? [Not knowing the entire situation, Sanji can't exactly see why that's a bad thing. All this trash can't be good for anyone, save rats]
[action]
At Sanji's question, Sabo stiffens. He didn't even realize he'd spoken that out loud.] ...Yeah. They burned everything-- [he stares at the Terminal folks wandering around the trash heap, foraging for unlikely treasures to sell, and Sabo just grits his teeth] --everyone, until nothing remained. They burned all the kingdom's trash.
[He sucks in a breath and shakes his head, turning away.] But that's still more than a year from now. Let's go, Porchemy's hideout is this way.
[action]
He turns away too, following Sabo and frowning for a completely different reason.]
This is where Luffy grew up? [He starts to realize just how little he knows about his own captain, how much he never bothered to question. Not exactly a bad thing in and of itself, but it's all the more apparent in this memory, and it bothers the chef a little]
Re: [action]
In a way! Luffy's born in the Fuusha Village on the other side of the island. He only came to live with Ace and the bandits up there in Mt. Corvo a few months ago. It's me who lived here in the trash heap the longest. But after this day, I went to stay with them too.
After that, we don't spend as much time here. We either train fighting animals in the mountain, or go straight into town to-- er... eat fine dining once in a while!
