[Hello, Luceti Residents.

Guess what? Someone turned Seventh Heaven inside out criminally early in the morning, meaning even the staff will be in for a surprise. There are tables and chairs grouped together in front of the restaurant, shielded from the sun by large umbrellas. That in itself is odd, but the real attention-grabber is how much food some of the tables are holding. Dinner platters, breakfast feasts, desserts, finger foods, and everything in-between - it's all right there, protected from bugs with see-through plastic covers. And right in front of this mouth-watering display is a sign:

Take What You Can Eat.

Really. There's even a stack of plates and silverware, along with some carry-home boxes in case anyone wants to shove their fridge full of leftovers. Dump the dirty plates in a bin off to the side; he ~~his workers~~ will get to it later. And should the gluttons of Luceti lay siege to the feast, no worries; Sanji's captain is Luffy, after all. He'll be replenishing the tables well into the afternoon, along with any other chefs who might be working that day.

Whether you see him inside the restaurant, bustling around the kitchen like a man possessed, or spot him outside restocking the food, everyone will find the Head Chef in a... really good mood for someone who took a few days off to recover from the trauma that is your AU self "dying". He's just all heart-filled smiles and affectionate ass-whooping, depending on your sex.

... Clearly he's gone mad. B|

And then later, journal announcement! Because why not:]

Oi, for anyone who didn't see -- [He turns his journal camera to the food display, sounding exceedingly pleased with himself.] Take what you can eat! There's plenty for everyone. If not, I'll have to make Luffy finish off the rest, and we wouldn't want that. [A-aha]

And for anyone who's interested, I'm looking for another waitress or two, maybe one more chef. [8D] Any help's appreciated, ladies~!

I can tell! Your food here is always great, and I've learned a lot from your cooking classes even though I've only attended a few so far. [She'll start strolling along the tables, checking out the offerings on display. She really wants to take something, but her birthday party is today and there's going to be a lot of food there, too...]

What a delight to hear that Pao-Lin-chan's enjoying the lessons~! I've seen a lot of improvement, too!

[He trails after her ... well, more like sways after her. Same difference.]

[Pao-Lin laughs a little sheepishly.]

Aww, thanks! I'm glad you think so. I'll definitely keep working to learn new recipes and improve ones I already know!

[Oh, she spots the pile of empty takeout boxes! Awesome. Pao-Lin runs over to snatch a few, and she begins to scoop up whatever she can fit into the boxes. She's starting to get used to cooking, but ultimately she still likes just coming home to food that's already made.]

[Yeeeeeeees, this pleases Sanji. Soon she shall eat his food ~~and then he will take over the world...!~~]

Considering your age, I'm kinda impressed you've got an interest in it at all. [Cooking for survival is one thing; cooking as a hobby when it's not necessary is another. Then again, perhaps he's too accustomed to making the meals.]

Hehe, well, I like to eat a lot, so I should learn to make my own food, right? But I was always too busy with Hero stuff back home, and Natasha always cooked for me or took me out to restaurants. [Ooh, those noodles look nomlicious! Definitely snatching those up (albeit very carefully).] Now that I'm in Luceti, though, I have more free time, and I don't have to pay for ingredients, so I don't feel as bad if I mess up on recipes.

[Wow, he should introduce her to his captain. Maybe she'll rub off on him]

Aaaah, that's right! You're a Hero like Kotetsu. [The oyaji-idiot Sanji will never admit to liking]

I don't suppose you get any breaks for hobbies, do ya?

I do get some time to rest, but sometimes I'm too tired to do anything except nap. Or I have to do homework or paperwork or something. But I like to draw when I get the chance.

[... Well. At least Sanji wouldn't feel any more embarrassed than usual, if he knew this.]

Really? I bet Pao-lin-chan's a regular artist~!!

Well...yeah, I do draw a lot more now that I'm in Luceti and don't have to be a Hero. I helped do the mural by the Welcome Center. [She's being modest -- she designed it and organized the whole project.] I hope we can do another one here...

[He knows the one she's referring to, and his eyebrows shoot up] You helped with that? [Impreeeeeeeesive. He's sad she can't meet Usopp; they'd probably have a blast kicking all types of artistic ass.

Well, if you ever need something else to do... [He cups his chin in a hand, thoughtfully brushing the thumb along the underside.] This shitty restaurant could use a little more class to it. [And then he grins]

Why don't you design and draw up some paintings for me? If you have the time, of course~!

[After a moment of surprise, Pao-Lin beams at Sanji, feeling warm and fuzzy inside.]

Sure, if you really want me to! Is there anything in particular you'd like paintings of...?

[GAH NO SANJI CONTROL IT.]

I-I'll leave it in Pao-Lin-chan's capable hands! [He is shaking his head so fast it might leave his neck and go into orbit]

[She nods determinedly.]

Okay! I'll do my best!

[She finishes filling up another takeout box, and sets it on an empty table next to a stack of her other ones. She frowns suddenly.]

Hey, um...how long is all this food gonna be out for?

[He abruptly puts an end to his head shaking at her question, though half of him is still working on getting those lusty thoughts in order. Seriously, never ask a pervy chef what he'd like.]

Eh? Oh... depends on how fast it's eaten. [He straightens, giving the food a critical glance] If you weigh in the shitty gluttons of this town, I doubt more than a hour, if that.

[She laughs a little at that. Some Lucetians certainly make someone like her look like a dainty eater.]

Ah, that sucks. I'm on my way to a party, so there's already gonna be a lot of food there, but I was hoping to come back here afterwards and get a little more.

Maaah, you don't need to worry about that! There's more where this came from. I'll be cooking all day. [He sorta has to. Otherwise Goku and Luffy together would decimate the feast]

And even if I wasn't, I'd save some for Pao-Lin-chan~

Hehe, okay, that's good. I'd hate to miss out on something like this! But you should try not to overwork yourself...

Oi, I'll be fine! This isn't the first time I've done something like this.
