I'm not! I'm not. [But he's watching Sanji flop and he's taking a seat where he was previously sitting.] But now that we know what kind of game we're playing...don't you think we have to be a little smarter about things?
[Percy's 16, but it's spoken like someone who sure has seen a lot of murder.]
Listen, if you're gonna try and chastise me into behaving, save your breath. I have reasons why I do the shit that I do.
[And in turn, Sanji's voice hardens slightly, not unlike a war veteran]
... Not saying you're wrong, though. We got a better sense of the stakes -- and it's about what we expected, eh? More weeks of murder, maybe a place to house the souls of the dead, and finding out whose pulling the strings.
And I do, too. [They're on the same page that way, at least, and he frowns a little harder in Sanji's direction.]
That's the way it's always gone, right? It's how our game worked but we never really got to face the people who were running the show. Maybe this time it'll be different.
But either way people are going to have to die. That's the part I'm not okay with. [Is anyone?] We have to find a faster solution, but...I don't know where to look.
First things first is talk to the counselors. They're the ones who know more than us, so they stand the greatest odds of helping us out -- so long as we ask the right questions.
That's not a bad strategy, but I suggest you go talk to one of them sooner or later. They know we're gonna need to pick their brains to figure out what the fuck is going on here.
Most of the information I got from Hal back then was based on an exchange of stuff. It didn't help much at the time, but it all sort of became relevant to me figuring out everything later.
I don't know if that strategy will work here, but it's worth a try.

That's a really weird way of saying I'm right.

[Giving a dramatic ass flop back onto the bed. No, he does not care that it's gonna aggravate the cuts. Let him live]
Whatever -- it's not like a few cuts is gonna slow me down. I've had worse.

[Heaving a loud sigh]
So I don't know how shit's gonna go down here. It could be something we're familiar with; it could a different sort of disaster.

[...]
Even if the information they offer is garbage, coordinating what they tell you verses everyone else is gonna be important.
[Eh, well. Sanji doesn't really press after that, just offers a vague wave]
'Course, you do what you gotta. We're all coming into this with strategies that worked back in our other... "games".

Sanji snickers]
Is that right? Well, you'd fit just fine on my crew, so yeah, I'll be counting on ya.
