Let's play the 20 Questions or whatever after then?
Did you know that there are notes going around the camp? Once a week, from an anonymous source.
Also, I'm looking for more prizes that look like pink, rectangular, squishy toys. [she'll draw out the shape and size of what she's looking for - something about the size of a dollar bill] From what I understand, they can answer one question that you want to know in complete honesty.
And I heard that the banner from last week was something that someone got when they used an item that was meant to reveal a hint about the game - they don't know what the hint meant, so they broadcasted it to the rest of camp.
If you hear about a note this week, can you tell me? I've heard about the notes from the past two weeks - if they started any earlier, then I never heard about it.
[and she wants! answers!!!]
Mm.... if you've heard of them, can you tell me what question they asked? There's a few more that I still have, so I just - want more of those prizes, I guess. They're probably the best bet we have in moving forward in learning about this place.
[SHE STILL JUST WANTS ANSWERS,,]
But that's right. I don't know if anyone's cracked the code about what the banner itself means though. None of the letters from the dead have been entirely forthcoming.
But yeah, I'll let you know if I hear about any notes getting thrown around. Do you know what the hell's been on the notes? That part I don't know anything about.
[As for the second part:]
... They wanted to figure out who killed someone. But the killer's already dead, so it ended up being a moot point.
Hold on, our information trails are converging. Yeah, I'm asking for Akira. We both really need more of those toys since he ended up running into a wall asking it about Yu and Shinobu.
You can ask Akira about the first note - it went to him. It said something about him being on the right trail.
The second one.... the person it went to wants to protect the possibility that someone entrusted them with it, and doesn't want to do anything to lead to that person even if we haven't found them yet - but it said that without a doubt, Escha is innocent.
[There's a tick of amusement in his smile because... well. It doesn't matter. He just nods along, breezing past any of the stuff with Akira since she's addressed it.]
Innocent, huh... then are you guys trying to track down the killers from the previous trials?
It's... I don't agree with Beau all that much - and I don't think that lying to protect people who have killed is any good. Innocent people might die that way.
But I also think she has a point that if someone is doing it to protect us, because we still haven't made a lot of progress in figuring out how to dismantle the game... I want to know how. I want to talk to them.
He and I both do - so we can even remotely make sense of why it keeps happening.
... Maybe not close, no, but his death doesn't sit well with me.
[A honest answer]
And I guess I got the same shit in mind as you and Akira. Maybe I won't beat up the asshole who murdered him, but I sure got questions I want answered once I find them.
Then if any of us find leads, I'd like to pursue them - I still want to know who attacked Giyuu and Shinobu. The robot as well - and Hikage. [they are so fucking bad at this]
I think that the notes imply that there's a role that can check the guilt or innocence of another. If that's the case, then we might be able to find out something this week if they check correctly.
.... as long as you can confirm that the role exists, then that should be enough for me. I can keep looking after that. I don't want to do anything that could endanger someone.
[again.]
But... I think that's everything I know for now. When it comes to exchanging information.

[he's talking shit in the most deadpan voice he can muster, Sanji does not care, please no one send him a note--]
But I've never seen those pink prizes... shit, though, they sound familiar? So maybe I know someone who used one, though I can't name 'em.
[Huh... the banner part is something he certainly didn't know, however, eyebrow arching in intrigue the moment she shares it]
That right... So a way to spread the information and get extra opinions without outing themselves. Smart.

And I got a quick question for ya -- any idea on who killed Giyuu?
Because I'm on the lookout for his killer.
no subject
... you were close to him? Dimitri cared a lot for both him and Shinobu.
If there's anything I could say definitively that would bring either of you peace of mind then I would but...
[she has nothing right now.]

Alright, I'll follow... and I'll share whatever I end up finding on this end, too.

Gotta admit, I'm impressed, Lili. You certainly get around when it comes to information.

I'm fast but Akira's faster and nicer. I just take care of everything he's still too cagey to do at this point.

People really think we're close, huh?

What do you think there is to be subtle about!!
[SHE'S A HISSY CAT, SHE'S NOT EVEN SURE WHAT SHE'S MAD ABOUT HERE]

Sorry, sorry, I meant no offense!
Only that the reason people think you two are close is you both obviously support one another when shit gets tough.

[she's going to insult akira but also saying she doesn't watch out for him is a lie so.]
Anyway, can we get a task done? Is 20 Questions just - what it sounds like?
/closes eyes
You ask me a question, I answer... then I ask you one... rinse and repeat until we're finished.

That with some black coffee... reminds me of long nights back on the Baratie.
