[Goddamn, Lili, Sanji almost feels bad for this sword that he wants to knee in the balls. Her declarations nearly prompt him into laughing, though, and even though he swallows the worst of those urge, it does lighten up his face. Just a tad]
Honestly? No shitty clue. And a lot of it is gonna come down to if we trust our counselors to be in as tight of a spot as we are.
[This group is a lot more... optimistic than the ones back in the castle, in some ways. They'll quickly make concessions to those whose hands are tied. He rubs at his chin, thoughtful]
If they're not our true enemies, then yeah, we'll have to extend our reach out and hunt down the real problem.
[his lips arch into a smirk at the mention of Hikage]
Yeah, well. That guy's prickly enough to hate most.
[Still, she asked him a question, and Sanji bows his head trying to formulate a response]
... The way things are shaping up, they're probably victims like we are. And if they could, they would've shared more about what's going on.
[...]
I think they dropped the shitty ball and were sloppy in the beginning, but that's not enough to make me hate them. If they put in the work and do their part to help us out, I ain't got any complaints.
Mm... I'm more or less the same - even though I can admit that there's a chance that they might be deceiving us again. I don't think that's the case, given that one of them got injured... but I've been tricked before.
[so she's trying not to just accept what she's given.]
I got my anger out already - but now it's figuring out the right place to direct it, if the answer isn't at our hosts.
First thing's first -- I wonder if they know whose pulling the strings over all of us. If they're in the dark, that doesn't give us a place to start... but if it's a matter of us needing to ask the right questions...
[Then, at least, they have an easy enough lead. Bother the hosts until they spill the details]
... it depends... Sometimes you need to ask the right questions, sometimes you need to ask specific questions.
I finally got around to hearing about my consequences for sharing my power and team - but based on a previous meeting, I thought I wasn't going to face any ramifications at all.
It's not... different answers, technically. I'll give them that. But I wonder if they weren't able to correct me misunderstanding and walking away the first time. I wanted to know why people got punished about the scrunchie but not for sharing teams - and I was told that maybe consequences come at different levels based on whether or not we listen.
But I suppose I didn't clarify that I wanted to know if there would be a punishment for sharing at all.

Akira's made clear what he thinks about that.
[and he thinks it's very soft-hearted of him. she doesn't mind, particularly, because lili is ultimately always trying to save people, but.]
What about you?

[It takes a moment to parse out what Lili is saying]
Oh, you mean if I trust our jailors this time around?

There are quite a few divided opinions. Hikage definitely hates them.

... And you met with the same counselor? They gave you a different answer both times?
