[There is something extraordinarily jarring about finding yourself in a chilled, unfamiliar forest, when two seconds ago you were under the sea, fighting off a legion of crazed fishmen. The blonde man clad in the usual New Feather's garb is none too pleased with this switch once he gathers his bearings, and he sets off in a direction that might be right, straining to hear any sounds of battle, only half-mindful of the journal he hasn't ditched yet. The hows and whys can wait until he's back with his crew.

He'll come across the town, eventually, once a certain child skipping school sets him straight. And it will feel like the longest half hour of Sanji's life, hearing what she says to him -- and once she's safely back home and past her tears, he's going to... head straight to the grocery.

Cigarettes. Need them. Now. He flies through a pack of the damn things before grabbing another, shoving it into a flimsy pocket like it's his last sane lifeline. It might as well be. Navigating back home (...home), along an all-too familiar path, makes his head and chest hurt from the seeping memories.

Heh, what a load of shitty bull. He doesn't want to be here. Except he sorta does. Maybe. And damn, it'd be nice if he could make up his mind.

There will be no such luck today. He goes home, combing the house for available crew members; any kind of anchor and stability. And after that, there's the clothing shop for his suits. Then Seventh Heaven. Then tracking down every person his memory supplies a name for - Xion. Miyabi. Sayo. Katara. Vash. Wolfwood. Isamu. Shit how many are there? - until his head feels too full and he goes to collapse at the bar around evening. Only then does the journal open.]

... Oi. [Fuck, where does one begin? Let's start with a name] It's Sanji. [Pause, and then with tired ire] Guess you shitheads aren't rid of me yet.

[ooc: If you think Sanji would look for your character... then he would probably look for your character. XD So yeah. << RUN INTO HIM ANYWHERE, previous CR or otherwise! He's all over town, and I care not for these things called continuity and time (save for who finds him in the forest - that honor goes to Elicia.)]

[Good, good. Sanji nods along, glad they're getting the second shock out of the way. And he's gotta say, Kotetsu taking this is stride is... well, pretty damn impressive. Brook sounds happy and that's all this chef cares about. +1 respect points]

There's some of us here in Luceti - of our crew, I mean. [In a relaxed tone] I'm sure you'll meet them all sooner or later.

That's not the sort of thing we do. [Except Princess Shirahoshi comes to mind. The palace wasn't too happy with Luffy about that.] Well, I remain convinced that one incident was a mutual agreement.

Relax, Kotetsu. There are plenty different kinds of pirates in our world, and not all of them fit the shitty description you're using.

Your skeleton friend is less convincing. [*_* Oh well.] So what kinds of pirates are you, then?

How about we take him through the shops around here? [Since they're in the square, might as well hit them first]

We've got the school, smithy, grocery shop and item shop along there. [He points to the biggest buildings] If you've got a weapon you wanna pick up, hit the smithy. Otherwise you'll find what you need at the item shop. Shit from other worlds come through there.

Ah—A weapon?

[... He rubs his chin, thoughtful. He considered being quiet about his powers, but really, he had no chance of keeping his identity secret and doing his job in a small place like this. And without any reason to hide his identity...]

How about armor suits?

It would depend on the type of armor, I believe. I've come across a few items while browsing through the Smithy before, and some in the clothing store.

[He gives Kotetsu a shrewd look, tempted to ask, but eventually decides against it.]

I'd say the heavier stuff you'll find in the smithy.

Oh, it's pretty heavy! It's a power suit. Covers you head to toe!

I was wondering if it might show up or not, but then, I have more important stuff to find.

'Power suit'? That sounds like something Franky-san would talk about...

[He'd ask about it, but he tunes back in just in time for that last comment.]

Such as? We can keep an eye out for any of your things as we go along! Well, Sanji-san can. I, of course, have no eyes. Yohohoho!

Yeah, then you'll wanna check the smithy first, before the item shop.

And what's this important thing of yours?

Ah! well, one is a little pin with a christmas tree on it. It's pretty small... so I haven't really been able to track it down yet. And then, the other one's a silver ring—it's just a plain silver ring, but it's really important I find it, you know?

[Brook has no rings he's ever been particularly attached to, but he can emphasize with that feeling of losing an important possession when you wake up here.]

If they're here, both of those things should be in the Item Shop. With the three of us, I bet we could find them! Ah, so long as we keep him away from the paint.

[ Him being Sanji, of course. 8] ]

Brook, shut your stupid jaw! [HNNNNNNGH]

[The next part is directed at Kotetsu, once Sanji's done trying to incinerate his nakama by glaring at him hard enough]

If you wanna take a look right now, we can pause the tour and drop by the place. [It's not like it's far]

[Mrrr... He looks at his hand thoughtfully. Grumping like a manchild should.]

I looked everywhere yesterday... You think it could be there today?

[He was feeling a little naked without it. Not to mention, the pin really was important! He'd have to find Bunny's, too... But then...]

You don't think... maybe it won't show up, do you...?

[Tapping you lightly on the head with his cane, Kotetsu.]

Don't think like that now. If it's important to you, it will definitely show up sooner or later.

[He's yet to be proven wrong on this, either. Given the look on his face, he thinks taking a little side trip in their tour is probably a good idea, too.]

Why don't we try it?

If it means he'll stop making that shitty face. [So polite, Sanji. But there's no bite in his words, so that's something.]

[And since it makes little sense to halt the tour until after they're done, considering there's things to see in between where they started in the square and where they're headed, Brook will point things out along the way!

There's the bar, and the welcome center, and the clinic, and a few other things back there that they passed that Brook promises to mention later if they walk back that way, including the restaurant (though he'll let Sanji talk about that one).

Once they actually make it to the shop, Brook will stop his chattering to hold open the door.]
