001↠ Action/Voice
[There is something extraordinarily jarring about finding yourself in a chilled, unfamiliar forest, when two seconds ago you were under the sea, fighting off a legion of crazed fishmen. The blonde man clad in the usual New Feather's garb is none too pleased with this switch once he gathers his bearings, and he sets off in a direction that might be right, straining to hear any sounds of battle, only half-mindful of the journal he hasn't ditched yet. The hows and whys can wait until he's back with his crew.
He'll come across the town, eventually, once a certain child skipping school sets him straight. And it will feel like the longest half hour of Sanji's life, hearing what she says to him -- and once she's safely back home and past her tears, he's going to... head straight to the grocery.
Cigarettes. Need them. Now. He flies through a pack of the damn things before grabbing another, shoving it into a flimsy pocket like it's his last sane lifeline. It might as well be. Navigating back home (...home), along an all-too familiar path, makes his head and chest hurt from the seeping memories.
Heh, what a load of shitty bull. He doesn't want to be here. Except he sorta does. Maybe. And damn, it'd be nice if he could make up his mind.
There will be no such luck today. He goes home, combing the house for available crew members; any kind of anchor and stability. And after that, there's the clothing shop for his suits. Then Seventh Heaven. Then tracking down every person his memory supplies a name for - Xion. Miyabi. Sayo. Katara. Vash. Wolfwood. Isamu. Shit how many are there? - until his head feels too full and he goes to collapse at the bar around evening. Only then does the journal open.]
... Oi. [Fuck, where does one begin? Let's start with a name] It's Sanji. [Pause, and then with tired ire] Guess you shitheads aren't rid of me yet.
[ooc: If you think Sanji would look for your character... then he would probably look for your character. XD So yeah. << RUN INTO HIM ANYWHERE, previous CR or otherwise! He's all over town, and I care not for these things called continuity and time (save for who finds him in the forest - that honor goes to Elicia.)]

You said it was a pin with a tree on it, right? [Guess what Sanji found in a corner of the porn box]
[Action]
[Or give a couple more live concerts, but who would want that. 8|a
Just taking a peek at the inside of the magazine... oh yes, he's keeping this one. It goes tucked away into the inside pocket of his jacket before pouncing back over to the box.]
I think that he said that it was a Christmas tree! Is that right?
Re: [Action] 1/2
Oooohooo, no way! He hops over and swipes up that pin excitedly. Have a hardy pat on the shoulder, Sanji, because he is a kid at Christmas.]
Oooooh! This is it!
[;~; my piiiin! He puts it on his vest, glowing with some weird sort of partner-pride. Damn straight.]
Aa, it's still as good as new, too!
Re: [Action]
[Even if you found it because you wanted to read porn.]
[Action]
No, don't mention it. [He discreetly tucks away a prize for himself - Brook, we can totally trade later - and sets the box down]
Now just the ring, right?
[Action]
Re: [Action]
He gives the jewelry pile a careful dig, but he doesn't find anything.
Mmmrrrr, maybe this pile? His neutral expression curls into a frown.
NO PROBLEM. I-it'll be here eventually.]
... Guess it's not here yet...
Ah—we can go now. I don't see it, and I don't wanna go wasting too much of your guys' time.
[Action]
If you're sure. [He stops his search, warming his hands in pockets, and appears fairly sympathetic.] Brook and I can check in every now and then to see if it's around. [That sound good to you, bones?]
[Action]
I come in here almost every other day already - I will be certain to let you know if I happen across anything like it!
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Alright, next, we can drop by Seventh Heaven real quick.
[Action]
Are you planning to work there again, Sanji-san?
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Yukito already handed the place back over to me. [A fact which fills Sanji with barely concealed relief.]
[Action]
Yohohoho! How exciting! I can hardly wait to dine there again!
Re: [Action]
EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE A STOMACH]
Oi, oi, are you any good at things like pasta noodles in shrimp, or pizza, or cheeseburgers??
[Action]
You're talking to the best chef in all of East Blue.
[Action]
[He got to try all the finest foods he could want and more in some of the places he stopped at on his tour. It was delicious and he'd eat every bite, but he'd still say Sanji's food is superior.]
Re: [Action]
[...]
Is the Grand Line a city or something?
[Action]
Right, right. Just drop by the restaurant whenever you're hungry. [He's opening the doors of said restaurant right now, ushering them both in. They've avoided the rush. Instead of a roaring crowd, the dining area is filled with soft murmurs of conversation.]
And the Grand Line's technically a huge ocean current, but there are many islands that your can reach sailing along it.
[Action]
[Brook makes a swirling motion with one finger, as if tracing an equator.]
As Sanji-san said, there's numerous stops along the way.
Re: [Action]
[Action]
What's your line of work?
[Action]
[Action] 1/2
[:| Saying this to people is kind of... difficult. When you spend ten plus years of your life keeping it under wraps, you tend to hesitate like that, right? But it's not like you're from the same world. Or that you'll remember. Or that he can actually conceal his identity in a place this small.]
I'm sort of a Hero.
[BIG H. NEVER FORGET.]
