Guess what? Someone turned Seventh Heaven inside out criminally early in the morning, meaning even the staff will be in for a surprise. There are tables and chairs grouped together in front of the restaurant, shielded from the sun by large umbrellas. That in itself is odd, but the real attention-grabber is how much food some of the tables are holding. Dinner platters, breakfast feasts, desserts, finger foods, and everything in-between - it's all right there, protected from bugs with see-through plastic covers. And right in front of this mouth-watering display is a sign:

Take What You Can Eat.

Really. There's even a stack of plates and silverware, along with some carry-home boxes in case anyone wants to shove their fridge full of leftovers. Dump the dirty plates in a bin off to the side; he his workers will get to it later. And should the gluttons of Luceti lay siege to the feast, no worries; Sanji's captain is Luffy, after all. He'll be replenishing the tables well into the afternoon, along with any other chefs who might be working that day.

Whether you see him inside the restaurant, bustling around the kitchen like a man possessed, or spot him outside restocking the food, everyone will find the Head Chef in a... really good mood for someone who took a few days off to recover from the trauma that is your AU self "dying". He's just all heart-filled smiles and affectionate ass-whooping, depending on your sex.

... Clearly he's gone mad. B|

And then later, journal announcement! Because why not:]

Oi, for anyone who didn't see -- [He turns his journal camera to the food display, sounding exceedingly pleased with himself.] Take what you can eat! There's plenty for everyone. If not, I'll have to make Luffy finish off the rest, and we wouldn't want that. [A-aha]

And for anyone who's interested, I'm looking for another waitress or two, maybe one more chef. [8D] Any help's appreciated, ladies~!

... And I suppose you other guys, too.

Less chocolate...

[Hmm. After glancing through the drinks, he finally points to one of these glasses.]

There's not much chocolate in the actual drink - more like peppermint with a slight hint of nutmeg.

Hmm...that sounds delicious, Sanji. I think I'll try that one.

[She takes the glass and starts to raise it to her lips...is this it? Is it finally the moment?]

[concasse]

[He doesn't know! All he can do is stare intently at the glass, then Azusa's lips... actually, staring a bit longer than necessary at the lips, but eventually they travel back to the glass, then the lips again!... And the lips. Glass. Lips. Glas-- oh wait. No. Staring at the lips.

... Where was he going with thi-- OH YES. Will the two meet? Will Azusa thwart Sanji's attempts once more?]

[Nope. She lowers her hand. Only to switch the hand the glass is in, though, before finally taking a sip.]

My, my! This is really wonderful, Sanji. You made these, too?

[concasse]

[Success. He'd do a fist pump if it weren't so completely ridiculous. Instead, he shall wiggle to save face.]

Aaaaahn, Azusa-chan's praise sets my mellorine heart aflame~!

And yes, I've made everything you see!

Mel...Mellorine? [She takes another sip. It's really good!] Is it really difficult to make?

[concasse]

Not at all! I could give you a copy of the recipe, if you'd like.

[mythmaker]

[She takes another drink. Dessert drinks...so strange!]

My, could you? I'd like to be able to try making this sometime.

[concasse]

Anything for Azusa-chan~! They're perfect on a hot day or after a light meal~! [You'd think he was an infomercial the way he carries on]

And they go wonderfully with some pastries, too~!

Ah, Sanji! I really love pastries...did you remember that after all this time?

[She's impressed! She looks back at the drinks.]

I don't have any paper for the recipe, though...what should I do...?

[The correct answer is to not leave her alone...who knows how many she'll drink now?!]

I would never forgive myself if I forgot Azusa-chan's favorite foods~!

And not to worry, I can run inside and jot down the recipe. Won't take more than a few moments~!

[Yeah, Sanji sucks at this game. But Azusa can resist while he's gone! >.>]

[No, she can't. She's tasted the forbidden fruit. While Sanji's gone, "My, he won't mind if I have another one..." turns into her quickly emptying the six or so that remain on the tray.

When he returns, she's staring up at the sky, clearly deep in thought. Or ashamed.]

[What has she done? Sanji did not expect to return to a scene more befitting of Luffy or Ace. He glances about the emptied glasses in awe when he returns, a piece of paper containing his scrawled handwriting clutched in a hand.]

... Azusa-chan must've been really thirsty...

she tries so hard!!!

[mythmaker]

[She stares up at the sky for another moment. The wind might be dramatically blowing, or maybe it's not. She does remember where she is eventually, though.]

A-ah, Sanji, you're back. I should probably get going...

Poor thing. The life of a dieter is suffering.

[concasse]

[His expression falls slightly] Already? [Boo. He speaks with a dramatic sigh] My heart shall mourn our time apart--!

But until we meet again-- [Presenting her the piece of paper] Here's the recipe you asked for~!

[mythmaker]

Y-yes, I think now would be a good time...and I look forward to seeing you again, too. [That is how she translates it, taking the recipe from him with a polite nod.] I'll take care not to lose it, Sanji.

[concasse]

[Azusa, you and your silly friendzoning. Not that Sanji seems to mind]
