Going by differences in how trials are run, it does sound like some of them had advantages that made finding out who did it easier... this really should be a sign that none of us should get comfortable based on just past experience.
Like... yeah, we've all done this before. But each of our games had their own specific circumstances, with different rules and people, and those differences could probably make or break us.

Two people know my power, and two people know my team... but it's pretty spread out, so it should be alright if I share with you. That'll be three total on my end.
I'm on Heart's team. My power's A Waste of Thyme, so I can create evidence before a murder and use it to distract trial.

I haven't used my power yet. So if someone messed with evidence last trial, it wasn't me. Hell, my power's not all that shitty useful: s'not like I'll have any way of knowing what a scene looks like. Either I try to pin someone specific who I think needs to go, or I use something like foot prints to force everyone into panic voting.

There's one other thing -- I'm gonna see if I can search out the people who have special roles here... if they've got special roles. Makes sense since that was a constant in most of our previous games.
You're not wrong. Anyone I brought this up with found some similarities.
There were assholes who got picked to kill each week, then a role to discover as much about the game as possible -- kinda like what you and Belph had to do.

We're most likely not going to hear from the roles themselves... at least for a little while. Considering we can't even talk about our powers freely, they probably have even more red tape. But if they're around, some hint about their existence should pop up.
