003↠ ACTION/VOICE -- Chibi free for all
[ooc note: Okay, here's the deal, folks. Rather than create two posts for chibi!Sanji and risk losing my tags (because it would happen, trust me), this is the only entry I'll put up. I'm going to leave it up to you what age Sanji will be when your character(s) run into him. I put out the scenarios, and you guys run with them. |D Don't be afraid to be creative, I don't mind. Just mention the age in the subject line. If you want more than one chance to tag, create another thread, and specify the new age. |D Easy, yes? Possible ages are 11 through 20. Possible dates are February 3 through the 12. I am fine with either voice or action, though if it's voiced, it'll be assumed your character contacted Sanji through the journals first.
Ladies who volunteered to be crushed on! The applicable ages for that are 14 and up. But of course, you can interact with a younger version of Sanji if you want.

[Nights have been rough so far, with strange dreams lingering on after his eyes have opened. And it makes him feel... different, somehow, like his life has altered in leaps and bounds. Skills that weren't accessible before, come to him easily. There are recipes in his head that shouldn't be there. He almost wishes he could tell someone about them; maybe one of the crew, eventually. They're nice enough, and have been more than accommodating, taking him in like this.
These thoughts are heavy to carry, but he's still a young boy suddenly trapped in a weird town with weird things. His attention isn't meant to dwell on problems for long. The goal to find Zeff eventually lessens to a dull ache, and Sanji busies himself with exploration: this Seventh Heaven restaurant, for one, and maybe the grocery store. He visits the item shop on a the fickle whim of a curious child, and eventually finds his way to the forest. He won't run away, though. He promised himself he wouldn't try anymore.]
[And in just a few days, Sanji finds himself forced to leave adolescence behind. It's more than a little obvious that something isn't right. While the crew has probably mentioned the nature of experiments, all the explanations in the world aren't gonna make this any less awkward, as he speeds through growth spurts and into sore, lanky limbs. He's grumpy half the time, flustered as well... which seems to happen like clockwork, whenever a pretty girl is nearby. He spends the majority of these days as red as a tomato and resorting to petty insults if it will get people out of his hair. When it gets hard to control, he seeks solitude to practice stretching and single-sparring. Or perhaps Nami. She's going through the same thing, too.
House 6 and Seventh Heaven are still his main places of solace. He considers himself a worthy enough cook by now, though he will often yield to Yukito's directions. He's broadened his explorations, however; he heavily frequents the forestplains, and will use the teleporters to sneak off to the ocean, when he feels like it.]
[Given enough time, the strangest of circumstances stop being strange, and turn into a compromised status-quo. Sanji barely gives any attention to his nightly dreams now - they come and he changes, both mentally and physically. His temper is still hot as ever, but slowly being tempered by a knack for cunning and kindness. Even his initial anxiety around women has all but disappeared - he eagerly greets them now, with what the residents might note to be his usual enthusiasm. Still rough around the edges and prone to silliness (or hormone spikes), but that's Sanji for you.

Sanji opens his mouth to say how it's nice to meet her, as manners dictate, but this child is a sucker for music. He grows quiet as she starts, entranced as she swells through the melody, and towards the middle sways in tempo as well, with a big smile on his face. And when she finishes...]
Whoa, you're so good! [With equal eagerness] Are you a musician, Miya-san?

Actually, I'm not. This is just a little hobby I picked up...because I heard that song in my dreams for a very long time. I wanted to learn it, so I picked up the flute and learned to play. I'm really a painter by trade...ehe, it's kind of my job. [K-Kind of.] But I love it. I've been painting ever since I was very, very small.
[Forest - Age 11]
And he nods to that, suddenly a huge grin on his face.] I'm the same way. I don't even remember when I really started cooking. [He'd just always been there, in the kitchen, working his hands and food.]
You must be an awesome artist, then!

You're very kind, thank you. But I'm really no better than anyone else could be. Unfortunately, I don't have anything with me now to show you but...hm. Just a second. [And as Miyabi reaches into her bag to collect her journal, she flips through it to a blank page, which she tears out.]
I can draw something for you now, Sanji. What would you like?

Um. [He has to look around when no immediate ideas come to him, searching the area for advice. His first thoughts are of people Miyabi might not know - Zeff, the Straw Hats - but eventually, he settles on the thing that feels most like home]
Can you draw the sea?
[Forest - Age 11]
[Hehe, she assumed that he's say that. And Miyabi immediately gets to work, sketching out the portrait before adding the rather simple colors - blue, indigo, black, and yellow. Though she works rather quickly, Miyabi's still trying to maintain accuracy and quality, so the painting takes some time. Drawing the sea, and doing so well isn't as easy as it looks. Water, especially in movement, is a hard thing to capture and give life to.
If Sanji has enough patience though, the outcome will be well worth the wait. After she marks one corner with her usual, black, swallowtail butterfly mark (her "signature"), and dates the back of the portrait, she hands it to the little chef.]
The paint's still a little damp, so be careful, all right?

Thank you!! [And now, if/when he goes home, he'll have a piece of Luceti to take back with him] This is the best picture I've ever seen!
[But of course, he can't take without giving something in return. His voice brims with eagerness] Oi, you should come by the house where the Straw Hats live! I can make you something to eat!
[Forest - Age 11]
Hehe, you're very welcome. [Ah, that doesn't come as a surprise. He's staying with his crew, obviously. That's good - no one could be better to take care of him than his closest friends.] Oh, you're living with them? I know the Straw Hats very well! And I'd be honored to have you cook for me, Sanji. Thank you very much.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me anyway.

Eh, it may seem that way at first...Zoro isn't the type to show his feelings. Mm, not in the way most people would expect, at least. You may not get along, but I'm sure he likes you. He decided to help you, didn't he? You're safe now because of him.
[Getting desperately lost aside. <<;]

Well yeah, but that's just because I'm a kid. [he shrugs again] Most adults wouldn't leave two kids alone by themselves, even if they hated them.

Don't speak poorly of Zoro. [Huff! Miyabi will not tolerate that kind of thinking. Even though the two butt heads as adults, they're still friends. And she knows neither one hates the other. Not the true definition of hatred, at least. They're still comrades.] He doesn't hate you. I think he's just not sure how to treat you. Zoro's a bit...uhm, w-well--...he's kind of scary at first. But I'm sure he'll take to you in time, Sanji.
Mm...you said something about cooking for me, didn't you? [Let's move the conversation towards something the kid likes.]

And he'll gladly swap the old topic for the new one, if it means they don't have to speak about the swordsman for a spell. He brightens a little]
Yeah! I'll make you whatever you want! I can cook anything! [er. >> Almost anything. Sorta]

[Miyabi giggles, happy to see his youthful zeal. He really didn't change much, at least when it came to his skill. There was so much life and energy and passion when Sanji talked about cooking. It was so pleasant an atmosphere to absorb, even in conversation. Plus, she is curious to see and compare his skills from this age to his much older self. Saying she's not expecting to to be good would be a lie, but she's pretty sure it won't compare to the years of experience age brings.]
I look forward to something delicious, then! Ah, but I should tell you, Mister Cook, I don't eat meat or fish. ...I'm pretty troublesome, aren't I?
[Forest - Age 11]
It's okay. Keimi-san doesn't eat meat either. And there are lots of dishes that don't need them.
[He's curious, though, and cants his head] Do you not like how it tastes?
[Forest - Age 11]
Ah, no, it's not like that. Eh, n-not exactly... [Though she has tasted meat, due to the Malnosso's influence. And it still makes her stomach turn uncomfortably, and makes her physically ill.] Where I'm from, we have gods that are represent by animals. My people, in respect to those animals, have chosen to never, ever injure them in any way - and that means we don't eat things like that.

[Yeaaah, in that case, he can sorta understand. Sanji imagines you'd get in a lot of trouble for eating the animal a god looks like]

She took on the form of a beautiful white wolf, and the other twelve animal gods were all born from her. That why she's also known as the "mother goddess".

But how can she have kids who aren't wolves? Is it because she's a goddess she can do that? [That's how he thought these things work.] I guess she didn't need a husband, either.
