001↠ Action/Voice
[There is something extraordinarily jarring about finding yourself in a chilled, unfamiliar forest, when two seconds ago you were under the sea, fighting off a legion of crazed fishmen. The blonde man clad in the usual New Feather's garb is none too pleased with this switch once he gathers his bearings, and he sets off in a direction that might be right, straining to hear any sounds of battle, only half-mindful of the journal he hasn't ditched yet. The hows and whys can wait until he's back with his crew.
He'll come across the town, eventually, once a certain child skipping school sets him straight. And it will feel like the longest half hour of Sanji's life, hearing what she says to him -- and once she's safely back home and past her tears, he's going to... head straight to the grocery.
Cigarettes. Need them. Now. He flies through a pack of the damn things before grabbing another, shoving it into a flimsy pocket like it's his last sane lifeline. It might as well be. Navigating back home (...home), along an all-too familiar path, makes his head and chest hurt from the seeping memories.
Heh, what a load of shitty bull. He doesn't want to be here. Except he sorta does. Maybe. And damn, it'd be nice if he could make up his mind.
There will be no such luck today. He goes home, combing the house for available crew members; any kind of anchor and stability. And after that, there's the clothing shop for his suits. Then Seventh Heaven. Then tracking down every person his memory supplies a name for - Xion. Miyabi. Sayo. Katara. Vash. Wolfwood. Isamu. Shit how many are there? - until his head feels too full and he goes to collapse at the bar around evening. Only then does the journal open.]
... Oi. [Fuck, where does one begin? Let's start with a name] It's Sanji. [Pause, and then with tired ire] Guess you shitheads aren't rid of me yet.
[ooc: If you think Sanji would look for your character... then he would probably look for your character. XD So yeah. << RUN INTO HIM ANYWHERE, previous CR or otherwise! He's all over town, and I care not for these things called continuity and time (save for who finds him in the forest - that honor goes to Elicia.)]

[action]
Tch, don't tell me the shithead looked like me, too.
[action]
[It's okay, Sanji, you still have the hypno eyebrow. 8Db]
[action]
So long as he doesn't go around impersonating me, I don't care.
[action]
[action]
Help me find a lighter in this crap.
[action]
[....right?]
[action]
Seeing as that's not the case here... But lo! Not long after Brook offers his services, Sanji's eyes trail up to just the right spot]
Oh wait, I see one. [At the top of the shelf, a bit higher than he'd normally reach. Still, he sees no reason making Brook do the work. Sanji makes a swipe, hoping to at least knock it to the ground, but instead he hits the tip and it goes spiraling backwards in the air--
And hits a broom at just the right angle so that it shifts and falls towards Sanji--
And somehow manages to hook the handle of a bucket that had been bent over it, pulling it forward as well--
Which then splashes all its contents - paint. pink paint - onto a gaping chef who is so stuck in shock he can't even bother to wonder why there's fresh paint, in a bucket, balanced precariously on a shelf]
...
[action]
[Flailing away from that! It misses him at least.]
Sanji-san! Are you all right?
[The answer to this question is very important in regards to what he does next.]
[action]
[Sorry Brook. Sanji can't hear you over his hot pink goatee. Just. Gonna wipe some of the paint off his face >_>]

...]
[action]
[POINTING. YOU LOOK SO RIDICULOUS.]
[action]
[MAKING MENACING STEPS TOWARDS YOU. Which, really, is stupid. There's paint on the floor, Sanji! Don't you know you could slip on it like a banana peel and reel backwards, crashing into another shelf, where a second bucket awaits in the shadows to poor glitter on your head?
They're hot purple. To compliment this hot mess]
[action]
[SANJI, HE WOULD HELP YOU BUT HE CAN'T SEEM TO STOP ROLLING ON THE GROUND, LAUGHING.
Oh right there's still paint on the floor.]
[action]
[action]
[action]
[Sanji's gonna get up, carefully pick his way over... and then flip you, linefacing the entire way.
There. Now you're matching on each side B|]
[action]
Blech! [He'll sit right back up, trying to scrape the paint off of his teeth... and still laughing all the while. Because this is fun, silly
and the paint totally has to be washable.]Yohohoho! I really have missed you, Sanji-san!
[action]
... ffffff.]
Hahahaha! [Despite himself and the current of emotions he's been riding today, nothing but a huge belly laugh escapes because you look ridiculous]
[action] 1/2
A good laugh with a friend like this is long overdue.]
[action]
[...and laughing again. Eventually he'll get a grip on himself though, and push himself back to his feet, though.]
Ah... where did you say that lighter was? I can reach it for you!
[action]
[He arches a brow in Brook's direction] Say, Brook... how long have you been in Luceti? [He wasn't around before Sanji was sent home]
[action]
[Sanji was still here when he left, but he wasn't when he got back, he knows.]
Nearly a month now - it's the fourth of November here, by the way.
[action]
And where - when are you, back home? Have we reached Fishman Island yet on your end?
[action]
We have indeed! Long enough to get into some trouble there, but no one seems to remember that but myself.
