001↠ Action/Voice
[There is something extraordinarily jarring about finding yourself in a chilled, unfamiliar forest, when two seconds ago you were under the sea, fighting off a legion of crazed fishmen. The blonde man clad in the usual New Feather's garb is none too pleased with this switch once he gathers his bearings, and he sets off in a direction that might be right, straining to hear any sounds of battle, only half-mindful of the journal he hasn't ditched yet. The hows and whys can wait until he's back with his crew.
He'll come across the town, eventually, once a certain child skipping school sets him straight. And it will feel like the longest half hour of Sanji's life, hearing what she says to him -- and once she's safely back home and past her tears, he's going to... head straight to the grocery.
Cigarettes. Need them. Now. He flies through a pack of the damn things before grabbing another, shoving it into a flimsy pocket like it's his last sane lifeline. It might as well be. Navigating back home (...home), along an all-too familiar path, makes his head and chest hurt from the seeping memories.
Heh, what a load of shitty bull. He doesn't want to be here. Except he sorta does. Maybe. And damn, it'd be nice if he could make up his mind.
There will be no such luck today. He goes home, combing the house for available crew members; any kind of anchor and stability. And after that, there's the clothing shop for his suits. Then Seventh Heaven. Then tracking down every person his memory supplies a name for - Xion. Miyabi. Sayo. Katara. Vash. Wolfwood. Isamu. Shit how many are there? - until his head feels too full and he goes to collapse at the bar around evening. Only then does the journal open.]
... Oi. [Fuck, where does one begin? Let's start with a name] It's Sanji. [Pause, and then with tired ire] Guess you shitheads aren't rid of me yet.
[ooc: If you think Sanji would look for your character... then he would probably look for your character. XD So yeah. << RUN INTO HIM ANYWHERE, previous CR or otherwise! He's all over town, and I care not for these things called continuity and time (save for who finds him in the forest - that honor goes to Elicia.)]

Oh.
Wow.]
[ voice ] 2/3
She doesn't know how to deal with this.
She just came to peace with all their absences and now that Sanji's back, and he remembers, she can't help but hope.... but hurt all over again.]
[ voice ]
Hey, Sanji. I'm glad you remember.
[ voice ]
Ah, there it is. His face lights up in a smile]
Katara-chan! You're still here! [He'd been wondering, and maybe worried she'd gone... well, obviously she hasn't. Both a curse and a blessing, but that's how Luceti operates, isn't it?]

[And now PRIVATE]
Did you go to the house or did you to the mikan orchard? Luffy, Franky, Robin, and Vivi are all there. [And then quickly.] Nami's - the Malnosso have her.

[ Private ]
I went by the house. Maybe they were all out when I showed up?
[ Private ] 1/2
But she'll smile.]
[ Private ]
[ Private ]
Yeah. Hope I can find them all before the week is over.
[ Private ]
Sanji?
[ Private ]
[ Private ]
[Quick, like a sword thrust and over the journals because this way she won't have to dread it and can maybe, maybe escape without crying.]
[ Private ]
Four, straightforward words... and Sanji continues to stare curiously into the journal as if the meaning flew over his head.
And his expression doesn't really change as he shuffles the words into understanding, connects words to two-years worth of feelings and memories. Sanji's face drains of color, his eye grows flat and distant... but the expression itself is frozen into fake, perpetual calm]
Oh. [Okay... he should say something else] Ah-- thanks for telling me.
[ Private ]
...]
He left me some flowers. You can come see them, if you want.
[ Private ]
But Katara's a girl (not that it should fuckin matter, idiot), she never said Ginko hadn't left him anything, and Sanji would never stray down a road paved with shameful self-pity. Of course not. He bites the inside of his cheek hard, until tangy warmth floods his mouth.]
I'd like that. [He would, initial reactions aside. Because the alternative is sitting in the bar until numbness shots the last of his emotions in the head]
[ Private ]
Come by any time.
[And she's sorry that she's not coming to see you, but her brother is kind of on his way to do a solo mission and she's got medicine she needs to prepare. And he might guess that something is up, just due to the fact that she isn't coming to see him.]
[ Private ]
Tomorrow then, if that's alright?
[ Private ]
[ Action ]
As promised, he'll show up the next day by her house. At least, he thinks that's where she said the flowers were. He half-wonders if he should glance around for them and then being on his way - he hadn't missed Katara's oddly aloof reactions, and it stirs up a pile of anxieties. But he'd like to see her, if nothing else, and so knocks on the door first]
[ Action ] 1/2
Coming!
[And within a few moments, she opens the door.]
Sanji!
