[Sanji freezes what he's doing, body stiffened in defense and eyes narrowed in blatant protectiveness. Very few people refer to his relationship with Xion outside of her, and maybe Luke; it's jarring.

But he relaxes immediately once the surprise subsides, prideful grin settled on his face. He might not have the years to prove his parenthood, but he's got the attitude down to perfection.]

So you keep reminding me. [Feh. Minor detail. You might have had the voice first, but Sanji made it more awesome.

As for his plate, the chef doesn't go for the freshly made stir-fry. Instead he turns for the refrigerator to fetch the meal Kotetsu made for him. It's a little chilled at this point, but completely edible]
