Sunday | Post-Execution

[He's told some people that being a chef is to his advantage here -- he can always be busy, always have something to do, and frankly? Always have an alibi. It damn well helps when multiple people can vouch for his position.

But it's on Sunday that he seems to break from that. The kitchen holds no solace for him, especially not after that execution, and it means Sanji prowls around the castle like a caged animal. Usually on days like this, he'd find Zoro, piss him off, have to dodge three swords at once and eventually feel better for it.

Too bad there's no idiot swordsman to be found, this time. No ship, no crew.

He chews on his nails, swearing darkly to himself. Sure would be a terrible time for him to run into someone]

That's not even the real reason he's pissed off, and Sanji goes quiet before:]

[He's looking off, over the top of Varian's head. His voice is very distant, like he's... somewhere else.]

[ Varian can't say he's ever seen anyone drown. Or... drowned. But he knows Sanji doesn't expect him to. He's not sure what to say. They'd voted for that option. Or, well, a majority had, at least. Which is bad enough.

... he's also not sure how he feels about ann. she did kill someone. but again: he knows it's definitely not the time to talk about that. ]
