A lot of my simple sketches are done on anything I can find. Napkins, notebook paper... even my own hand once, when I was struck by inspiration.
[ Does this part surprise literally anyone? ]
... Maybe something like finding a cheap ingredient or something people wouldn't make the centrepiece and trying to make something incredible with it?
