[ooc note: Okay, here's the deal, folks. Rather than create two posts for chibi!Sanji and risk losing my tags (because it would happen, trust me), this is the only entry I'll put up. I'm going to leave it up to you what age Sanji will be when your character(s) run into him. I put out the scenarios, and you guys run with them. |D Don't be afraid to be creative, I don't mind. Just mention the age in the subject line. If you want more than one chance to tag, create another thread, and specify the new age. |D Easy, yes? Possible ages are 11 through 20. Possible dates are February 3 through the 12. I am fine with either voice or action, though if it's voiced, it'll be assumed your character contacted Sanji through the journals first.

Ladies who volunteered to be crushed on! The applicable ages for that are 14 and up. But of course, you can interact with a younger version of Sanji if you want.

And also, bear with me on the icon front. >> There are plenty pictures of Sanji as a child and an adult, but not much in-between. U-use your imagination? ;A;]

[Nights have been rough so far, with strange dreams lingering on after his eyes have opened. And it makes him feel... different, somehow, like his life has altered in leaps and bounds. Skills that weren't accessible before, come to him easily. There are recipes in his head that shouldn't be there. He almost wishes he could tell someone about them; maybe one of the crew, eventually. They're nice enough, and have been more than accommodating, taking him in like this.

These thoughts are heavy to carry, but he's still a young boy suddenly trapped in a weird town with weird things. His attention isn't meant to dwell on problems for long. The goal to find Zeff eventually lessens to a dull ache, and Sanji busies himself with exploration: this Seventh Heaven restaurant, for one, and maybe the grocery store. He visits the item shop on a the fickle whim of a curious child, and eventually finds his way to the forest. He won't run away, though. He promised himself he wouldn't try anymore.]

[And in just a few days, Sanji finds himself forced to leave adolescence behind. It's more than a little obvious that something isn't right. While the crew has probably mentioned the nature of experiments, all the explanations in the world aren't gonna make this any less awkward, as he speeds through growth spurts and into sore, lanky limbs. He's grumpy half the time, flustered as well... which seems to happen like clockwork, whenever a pretty girl is nearby. He spends the majority of these days as red as a tomato and resorting to petty insults if it will get people out of his hair. When it gets hard to control, he seeks solitude to practice stretching and single-sparring. Or perhaps Nami. She's going through the same thing, too.

House 6 and Seventh Heaven are still his main places of solace. He considers himself a worthy enough cook by now, though he will often yield to Yukito's directions. He's broadened his explorations, however; he heavily frequents the forestplains, and will use the teleporters to sneak off to the ocean, when he feels like it.]

[Given enough time, the strangest of circumstances stop being strange, and turn into a compromised status-quo. Sanji barely gives any attention to his nightly dreams now - they come and he changes, both mentally and physically. His temper is still hot as ever, but slowly being tempered by a knack for cunning and kindness. Even his initial anxiety around women has all but disappeared - he eagerly greets them now, with what the residents might note to be his usual enthusiasm. Still rough around the edges and prone to silliness (or hormone spikes), but that's Sanji for you.

He knows the entire village layout, and you can find him anywhere: item shop, grocery, clothing store, battle dome, forest, ocean... He finds a reason to visit them all because sometimes, it's easier walking blindly, even when you don't really have a place to go to.]

[Yui was up to her silliness again today and was trying on some...interesting attires at the clothing store.

No matter how you look at it, she was trying on a variety of different styles in maid attire. She always found them cute, despite the negative impression they sometimes lead to. She's currently wearing this one. It's pretty close to the one she wore back home and she was admiring it in front of a mirror right now...not suspecting anyone is around to see her.]

[Oh poor unsuspecting Yui. Sanji has become a frequent visitor of the clothing store. It's amazing how many articles of clothing you can go through when your body is in a constant growth spurt. Already the teenager has grown out of his pants, which means he's bursting through the doors with a grumble, already heading towards the relevant section of the building.

... or he was, until he stops short and stares at the really cute maid alsjdlfasdf;]

[And poor Yui still plays the unsuspecting victim..although who's more of the victim here? She was twirling from side to side with the outfit on and then bends forward slightly toward the mirror.]

Hmm...I kinda wish I could wear this one at least...

Well... why can't you, Miss? [He speaks without thinking that maybe she'd rather not be seen in that outfit... except Sanji can't fathom why she'd want to hide that look from anyone. >>]

Well because- [Wait, who said-...buh!?] Oh! [Well now she's a bit flustered to see that someone had been watching her.]

I-I'm sorry. Did you want to use the mirror? [Yep.]

[Okay, Sanji. Moment of truth. Hit her hard and quick with flattery. It's do or die. GO TIIIIIIIIME]

N-no, I was just...

Taken aback by your stunning beauty~!!

Eh!? [O-Oh that was...Yui is going red in the face now. S-Stunning beauty?]

I...ah [///] Thank you...?

[Oh damn, was that enough? Should he keep going?]

T-the maid look really suits you, Miss!

[... Sanji thinks there needs to be a manual on this type of stuff.]

[Where is Nao to be her pervert police?]

Really...? I had to wear something like this back home at a cafe I worked at part-time. [...she blinks, tilting her head to one side as she looks at Sanji, a bit sheepishly.] You look familiar...I feel like I've met you somewhere before.

Ah-- I think I would remember meeting someone as pretty as you. [It comes out more sheepish than flirtatious, at least until Sanji notices he's sliding back into awkward territory (poor boy doesn't realize he never climbed out of that pit).]

[Her face goes even redder as she kinda stares toward the ground. Oh my god, all this flattery. Yui really doesn't know how to take them. Who's more awkward here!?]

W-Well...my name is Yui Konagi.

[Hell yes! He got a name. With more excitement than he means to show:]

I'm Sanji, Yui-san!

San-...Ehhhhhh!? [So that's why he looked familiar!]

What happened to you? You're...younger!

[ERK. Oh shit, he already knows her?

I, err-- [Any attempts at suaveness vanish in the face of this setback. He isn't sure what to say] We... know each other, Yui-san?

Mhmm [All that flattery from before has seemingly vanish upon recognition of who Sanji was. Maybe it's actually a good thing Sanji. She's getting closer to get a better look at Sanji for one thing. ]

You help run the Seventh Heaven restaurant. I'm one of the waitresses you hired! Well...when you're older.

Oh... [Well, at least his older self has good taste. ~~Oh Sanji you will regret that thought when you get older~~. And his face turns red the moment Yui steps closer. The boy's completely out of his element now]

Ah... s-sorry. I didn't realize...

Eh? Oh, no no it's ok. I didn't realize you had become younger. How long have you been like this?

[And she's still continuing on like nothing is wrong, of course]

[She looks more at ease. This is a good thing, right? Though he's having a hard time looking favorably at his future self, since at the moment his very existence is a cockblock]
